This is Abuse
Have you seen the new campaign that has been launched today to raise awareness of abuse in teenage relationships?
A special website has been setup which includes help and advice and tv adverts which show examples of abusive behaviour. There is also a live debate so you can have your say.
What is an abusive relationship?
Abusive relationships can happen to anyone and can often escalate and by the time physical abuse happens, your self esteem is likely to be damaged.
Abusive relationships can include:
►Being violent - hitting, kicking, slapping
►emotional - humiliating and putting you down
Anyone can be trapped in an abusive relationship, whether they're male or female. Help is available if you have a violent partner or if you're worried about a friend who you suspect may be in an abusive relationship.
