What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding relates to the duty of organisations (Children and Young People's Services, Police, Health), to ensure that children and young people are protected from maltreatment. The term Safeguarding also includes child protection.

Every Child Matters
The 2008/09 version of the Help4teens CD is now available. Each Year 9 and 11 student will receive a copy of the CD through their Connexions Personal Adviser.
The Youth Advisory Board for the 14-19 Commission has been asked to find out young people's opinions around education and the new diplomas....
You can now find out about open days and events offered by schools, colleges and other learning providers by using the Events Diary available on the area wide prospectus.
