Grammy Award Winning Music Producer talks to Students at New College Durham
Producer Peter Henderson recently paid a visit to share his experience with music management students and musicians of New College Durham on Tuesday 13th May 2008.
In a very candid conversation with Circulation Recording's Graeme Robinson about his music production career, Peter described how he went on to receive a Grammy for producing Supertramps' Breakfast in America album.
With engineering and production credits with Paul McCartney, Frank Zappa, Climax Blues Band, Jeff Beck, Tubes and Rush; Peter also presented Toon tracks' Superior Drummer software, which he helped develop.
The drum workshop showcased an exceptional realistic sounding piece of music software, which is used by professional musicians and producers; and after the session, Peter donated a copy of the software for New College Durham students to use in the college's recording studio.
Music management students in particular enjoyed his visit and some students were also offered a chance to work with him in London as part of their work experience.
