Art Foundation Courses

Most students study a one-year broad-based foundation course before they start a degree. The purpose of this course is to introduce you to a greater variety of art and design ideas and improve your technical skills.

Most courses also include study of art history or comparative studies in art. This will help you to explore which specialist direction your talents lie in, help you in your choice of a more specialised degree course and the choice of appropriate institution.
