Careerscape is a software program with:
- Information on over 1700 different job titles
- Information on lots of other topics such as education, training, employment, career choice, health, travel, relationships and lots more
- Links between subjects and careers
- Photographs and video clips
- Case Studies of people who do the jobs
- Information on higher education courses
This program is available at your local Connexions Centre - staff will be able to help you use the program. It is also available in all secondary schools and colleges.
You can use this program on any computer with Internet access, just ask for the password in school, college or at your local Connexions Centre.
You can now find out about open days and events offered by schools, colleges and other learning providers by using the Events Diary available on the area wide prospectus.
The Youth Advisory Board for the 14-19 Commission has been asked to find out young people's opinions around education and the new diplomas....
The 2008/09 version of the Help4teens CD is now available. Each Year 9 and 11 student will receive a copy of the CD through their Connexions Personal Adviser.
