The Help Yourselves Award scheme is an opportunity for children and young people. The scheme aims to have positive impacts on the lives of children and young people, as well as improving their life chances.
The awards categories are £1,000, £5,000 and £10,000 during 2008.
Projects must focus on improving the lives of children and young people's life chances in areas such as education, employment and self-confidence.
For the £5,000 and £10,000 awards, Help Yourselves will work in partnership with you to develop models of lasting change for children and young people living in poverty.

You can now find out about open days and events offered by schools, colleges and other learning providers by using the Events Diary available on the area wide prospectus.
The 2008/09 version of the Help4teens CD is now available. Each Year 9 and 11 student will receive a copy of the CD through their Connexions Personal Adviser.
