What are your rights if you are homeless?
If you are homeless, you may be entitled to emergency accommodation from your local council's housing department or help from social service - see below for local council contact details.
Certain groups of people have different rights, including young people under 18 and most asylum seekers.
You still have the right to vote and to benefits.
