About 20,000 young people a year runaway from home for lots of different reasons.
When they do, they are getting into danger. Big cities are dangerous places for young people especially if they don't have anywhere to stay.
About 5,000 young people a year who start to live on the street get involved with drugs, stealing, begging and prostitution to help them survive.

The 2008/09 version of the Help4teens CD is now available. Each Year 9 and 11 student will receive a copy of the CD through their Connexions Personal Adviser.
