Your Travel / Holidays and Travelling Abroad

► The World is your Oyster...

Travelling to new and exciting countries can be the time of your life and sampling new cultures will give you a great experience. You will meet lots of new people from different parts of the world, so if you fancy travelling by yourself you will never be lonely. Whether you decide to go on a package holiday, Inter-Railing around Europe or taking a year out to travel around Australia there is lots of information out there to help. It’s never been easier. First of all though you will need to apply for a passport if you haven’t got one because they can sometimes take a while to process.

You will also need to find out if you need to get a VISA to go to certain countries, check with your travel agent or the embassy of the country you are going to visit. See the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) for more details.
