This is arranged in categories such as: Careers, Learning, Health, Housing; Free Time, Work, Money, Relationships, Your Rights and Travel. It has links to other sources of information and sections such as ‘frequently asked questions’. Particularly useful in the careers section is the Jobs4u database of careers information which has up to date, accurate, detailed careers information on hundreds of jobs and careers.

Hello Rebecca,
Thanks for your question. There are many different types of jobs that include animal work. The job that people often think about the most is a veterinarian but there are many other jobs that will allow you to work with animals. Some exampled of jobs that allow you to work with animals includes a Marine Biologist, Animal Welfare Officer, Zoo Keeper or an Animal Behavioral Trainer. There is also the option to do some voluntary work so you can get some experience. I would suggest that you speak to your Connexions Personal Adviser to discuss this in more detail.

I am looking for a job which includes history and ICT

Hello Nathan,

Thanks for your question. There are many career paths using history such as; A Historian, working in museums, Archaeology and working with antiques. As you are also interested in ICT you may want to consider working as a researcher or archivist. Most jobs these days will require you working with ICT as some point so I would suggest that you speak to your Connexions Personal Adviser to discuss this option in more detail.
